Decatur Farm To School Internships

Decatur High students should apply by May 8.

Rising juniors and seniors at Decatur High School have until May 8 to apply for summer internships with the Decatur Farms to School Initiative.

Interns will work with local farmers, chefs and restaurant managers 10 hours per week for six weeks. They'll learn the ins and outs of growing, selling, buying and preparing free food.

the PDF application provided by DF2S.

Students can apply electronically to director@oakhurstgarden.org and should include “DF2S Research Grant Application” in the subject line.

They can apply by hard copy by mailing or hand delivering the application to Decatur Farm to School c/o The Wylde Center 435 Oakview Road Decatur, GA 30030.

A committee should pick two interns around May 15.
