Decatur Area Students Graduate

They earned degrees from Harvey Mudd College, Lawrence University, Cornell, Randolph-Macon and Union College.

These Decatur area students recently graduated from college.

Harris Enniss graduated from Harvey Mudd College, Claremont, Calif., on May 13 with a bachelor of science degree in Mathematics, graduating with Distinction. Enniss attended Paideia School.

Eli Hungerford, the son of Dr. Daniel Hungerford and Anna Smillie of Decatur, was awarded a bachelor of arts degree in studio art and environmental studies June 10 from Lawrence University at the college's 163rd commencement. Hungerford is a 2008 graduate of Druid Hills High School.

Brittany Henderson graduated from Cornell University with an Artium Baccalarius degree in Sociology during Commencement ceremonies in Ithaca, N.Y., on May 27.

Megan Harris-Murchison graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and minors in Biology,Spanish and History from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. Harris-Murchison is the daughter of Ms. Cheryl Phillips of Decatur.

Benjamin Jones graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY, June 10 during the College's 218th Commencement exercises. Jones, a Bioengineering major, received a Bachelor of Science degree.
