Sally Dobbins, the school health coordinator for the , says flu shots are available for students and families at Renfroe Middle and Decatur High. Here's the email she sent out:
Flu season is rapidly approaching. To help your student and your family stay healthy during flu season, the school health program in conjunction with the DeKalb County Board of Health will be offering flu shots to students and students' families at:
- Renfroe Middle School on Oct. 25th from 3:00-5:00
- Decatur High School on Oct. 26th from 3:00-6:00.
Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Flu shots are $20. Acceptable payment is cash, a check from a Georgia bank, certain State Health Insurance (UHC or Cigna only), Medicaid, or Medicare part B. You must present your insurance, Medicare or Medicaid card.
