3 Decatur-Area Students Graduate From Clemson

They received their degrees during a December graduation ceremony.

Clemson University reported that three Decatur-area residents were among 1,200 receiving degrees Dec. 20 at two winter graduation ceremonies at Littlejohn Coliseum.

The university said the students are:

  • Sonni Maria Adams-Austin, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
  • Lanise Kimberly Lewis, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences (Pre-rehabilitation Science).
  • Richard Jay Lyons Jr., who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Production Studies in Performing Arts (Music-Audio Engineering).

Graduates in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences; College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities; and College of Engineering and Science received their degrees at a morning ceremony.

Those from the College of Business and Behavioral Science and the College of Health Education and Human Development received theirs in the afternoon ceremony.
