What Should Go Here? Alexia Gallery

The jewelry store on West Ponce in Decatur closed in February.

The Alexia Gallery, a jewelry store at 335 W. Ponce de Leon Ave. in Decatur, opened in 2006.

The store closed in February after the death of owner/founder Corinne Herbst, an active member of the Decatur business community.

Since then the space has been vacant.

I hated to see Alexia Gallery close. But something needs to fill that space. What would be a good fit for that part of town?

A really cool and fun, community focused pet provisions store. A gathering place for all who love and respect four- legged furry family members.
