Vernon Jones Exits State House Race
Remaining contenders for the District 94 seat are from Stone Mountain and Snellville.
Former DeKalb County CEO Vernon Jones is no longer in the race for House District 94, according to a news report.
On Common Grounds news has reported that Jones has exited the race due to a potential conflict of interest.
Four other Democrats are in the running for House District 94, which is in far eastern section of DeKalb County and goes into Rockdale County: Karen Bennett of Stone Mountain, Patricia Bourdeau of Snellville, Tony Lentin of Snellville and Jaye Peabody of Snellville. No Republicans qualified for the seat.
