'Jobs Bus' Visits Decatur Wednesday

It will park at the DFCS office on Sams Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Avondale Estates and Decatur residents looking for work can visit the on Wednesday.

It will park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Department of Family and Children Services at 178 Sams St. in Decatur.

Major features of the resource center include 13 computer stations; a private interview area; high-speed satellite Internet connection; printer, scanner and copy services; and a fully accessible ADA workstation with movable table and auxiliary.Β

Businesses will be able to use the mobile unit for recruiting, pre-employment screenings, interviewing, and training.

The mobile unit will also provide residents with essential services including job search assistance, adult workshops and training, resume writing and interviewing tips.
