Tuskegee Airmen to Be Honored by Atlanta City Council Today

In honor of the 70th anniversary of the creation of the nation's first all Africa-American pursuit squadron, the Atlanta City Council will recognize the surviving Tuskegee Airmen

The city will issue a proclamation in their honor and hold a reception.

Of the seventeen Tuskegee Airmen who live in Atlanta, eleven will be present for Monday's event.
