National Drug Take Back Initiative

The United States Drug Enforcement Agency is partnering with the Avondale Estates Police Department to kick-off the “National Drug Take Back Initiative."  This important is to properly dispose of any old or unwanted medications while keeping them from accidental or illegal use.  Proper disposal also keeps the chemicals from seeping into our water systems and creating an adverse environmental issue.  This event is open to anyone and you are encouraged to pass the information along to others.

Hypodermic needles and liquid medications will also be collected at this event.

For more information, please contact SSgt. Jason Browen with the Avondale Estates Police Department.
