Decatur Holding Workshop Jan. 12 On Pedestrian/Bike Improvements
Meeting starts at 6 p.m. in city hall.
A community workshop to discuss alternative plans for pedestrian safety improvements at Clairemont, Church Street and Commerce intersections and bike lanes on Church Street will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, in city hall.
About 40 people attended a similar workshop in September, at which the city unveiled the possibiltiy of building a roundabout at Church and Lucerne streets.
The Atlanta Regional Commission through its Livable Cities Initiative (LCI) for bike and pedestrian improvements along Clairemont, Commerce and Church streets.
