Decatur Changing Location For The Spring Electronics Recycling Day

Take your stuff to the public works department at 2635 Talley St.

The City of Decatur will hold its spring electronics recycing day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Decatur Public Works at 2635 Talley St.

In past years, the event was held at .

Another change is that styrofoam won't be accepted at the electronics recycling event. A separate recycling day will be held March 31 to take styrofoam and shred paper.

On March 17, you'll be able to recycle cell phones, computers, radios and other electornic devices except microwave ovens. You'll have to pay a $10 fee for each TV set, with exact change required. Otherwise, it's free.
