The City of Decatur Zoning Update Task Force has developed ideas on how to change the city -- from increasing community gardening opportunities to coming up with new parking strategies.
The task force has been seeking public comment for months, but that period is about to end. You have until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, to give your opinion on the City of Decatur website.
City Planning Director Amanda Turner says,
The topics include accessory dwelling setbacks, transition standards between residential and downtown commercial properties, community gardens and home based businesses among others.
The forum will close on Tuesday, October 23rd at 2PM. It is open 24 hours per day.
Please forward to other Decatur residents and business owners so we can have as much participation as possible. We appreciate your participation and please contact me if you have any questions.
