Deadline Near To Comment On Zoning Task Force Ideas

You have until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, to make an online comment on the City of Decatur website.

The City of Decatur Zoning Update Task Force has developed ideas on how to change the city -- from increasing community gardening opportunities to coming up with new parking strategies.

The task force has been seeking public comment for months, but that period is about to end. You have until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, to give your opinion on the City of Decatur website.

City Planning Director Amanda Turner says,

The topics include accessory dwelling setbacks, transition standards between residential and downtown commercial properties, community gardens and home based businesses among others.

 The forum will close on Tuesday, October 23rd at 2PM. It is open 24 hours per day.
