Application Deadline for Avondale Community Promotion Program Looms Near

The intent of the program is to promote Avondale Estates through events or other activities that bring people into the city.

From the city of Avondale Estates:

The Board of Mayor and Commissioners approved $15,000 for the 2014 Community Promotion Program.

The intent of the program is to promote Avondale Estates through events or other activities that bring people into the city.

In past years, the program has funded AutumnFest, Art-B-Que, Georgia Safe Schools Coalition, Avondale Estates Sunday Ride and the Rail Arts District Studio Cruise, which have brought many thousands of people to the City.

Applications for this year's funding are available on the city's website or at City Hall.

Applications are due Jan. 31.
