Woman Charged In Auto Theft From Decatur Church

Police said she turned herself in.

Decatur police have charged a woman in the theft of a car from Thankful Baptist Church.

Hollie Hollis, 43, of Atlanta turned herself into authorities on Nov. 23 and was charged with felony theft by taking and misdemeanor theft by taking. The car was recovered.

A man told Decatur police his 2004 Mazda 6 was stolen the morning of Sunday, Nov. 11, from the parking lot at the church on West College Avenue while he was inside attending services.
