Updated at 4:45 p.m.

Authorities said the truck driver killed in a crash that closed northbound lanes of Interstate 85 in DeKalb County Wednesday morning has been identified as Corey Hart, 33 of Lithia Springs.

AJC.com says the unidentified driver of a tractor-trailer that was coming off the ramp from I-285 onto I-85 northbound lost control about 4 a.m. The trailer of that truck was struck by the cab of Hart’s truck, which was northbound on I-85. The impact split the trailer of the first truck in half, killed Hart and spilled diesel on the roadway.

DeKalb County Hazmat crews were called to clean up the fuel, authorities said.
