Tour Station During DeKalb Fire Department Open House
DeKalb County Fire and Rescue Services will hold an open house Wednesday, July 23, at Fire Station 1 on Clifton Road.
Families can check out fire equipment and tour Fire Station 1 during a Wednesday open house.
DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May, DeKalb County District Commissioners, Fire Chief Darnell Fullum and the county's fire and rescue leadership team will meet with residents at the event.
This family event will provide a fire extinguisher demonstration, up-close look at the fire vehicles and a tour of the station. The Public Education Unit will provide handouts and resource materials on life safety and fire prevention.
The open house will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Fire Station 1, located at 1670 Clifton Road in Atlanta.
