Police Make Arrest in Renfroe Middle School iPhone Robbery
A 15-year-old Decatur High School student is charged with him robbery and simple battery.
Decatur Police said officers arrested a 15-year-old Decatur High School student on Sept. 4, charging him with robbery and simple battery in connection with the Aug. 28th robbery of a Renfroe Middle School student.
The student was walking home from school when two others, including the high school student police arrested, began following him.
At some point, the suspect ran up behind the victim, wrapped his arms around the boy’s chest and took the iPhone before fleeing with his accomplice.
