This information comes from a Decatur police report.
Two men told Decatur police that armed robbers invaded their apartment in the 100 block of Hill Street Oct. 20 and stole a computer and other electronics equipment.
One of the men answered a knock on the door about 6:15 p.m. and saw two men on the porch. One of them put a long-barreled black revolver to his forehead.
They pushed their way into the apartment. The second intruder held a hunting knife to the other resident's throat and tied a red bandana around his eyes. The resident who answered the door was told to pull his white T-shirt over his face to block his vision.
The residents were moved to separate bedrooms and one of them said it sounded like a third person entered the apartment. The suspects told the victims not to call police right away because the apartment was being watched. They removed the bandana and left.
Neither resident was injured. Reported stolen were a wallet, a Dell laptop computer and laptop projector, an HP TV projector, Nintendo and Playstation equipment, a set of speakers, a DVD player and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers.
The suspects were described as black males in their early 20s. One was about 5-foot-9 and slender with light skin tone and wearing a black shirt with khaki pants. The other suspect was dark skinned and had a big nose.
