Naked Man Breaks into Council Member's Home

Ashdon Gibbs, 21, of Decatur strolled into the home of Johns Creek Council Member Cori Davenport wearing nothing but a cowboy hat.

Johns Creek City Council woman Cori Davenport was the recipient of an unwanted guest who opted to show up at her home wearing nothing but a cowboy hat.

A naked man sporting the hat broke into the Davenport's home Monday afternoon, according to WSB-TV.

Ashdon Gibbs, 21, of Decatur is facing several charges in relation to the break-in. He's also responsible for also breaking into several other homes. The council woman, who said she was upstairs at the time, told the news agency that her daughter was in the kitchen when Gibbs walked into the house.

Her daughter screamed and when she came downstairs to see what the commotion was about, Davenport said she saw the man flee through her neighborhood.

Johns Creek Police Lt. Chris Byers told the station there was no indication why Gibbs broke into the homes without clothing. He also said there was no indication if the suspect was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Davenport expressed her thoughts about the break-in on her Facebook page.

"Of all the homes in Johns Creek, he had to walk in to mine," she said.
