Neighbors have already begun noticing the increased presence of police, according to one neighorhood listserv. Still, they remain on guard due to the growing number of them.

“At this point, they have not confirmed the break ins are linked,” Parish said. “Detectives do believe that some cases may be.”

According to police reports, burglars stole mostly electronics, including flat screen televisions, cameras and laptop computers. In some cases, jewelry was stolen and cash.

According to police reports, at least one witness observed three alleged suspects carrying items from one of the homes hit and then reported the burglars fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed in an “older model gold Saturn." The witness also captured a partial license tag number.
