The Decatur Police Department is meeting with residents of District 1 at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29.
The community meeting is sponsored by the Decatur Heights and Sycamore Ridge Neighborhood Watches and will be held at the Church at Decatur Heights, 735 Sycamore Dr.
Among the agenda items:
- The crime statistics and trends update
- Community policing
- Neighborhood watches
