Decatur Police Ask Public's Help Finding Burglary Suspect

In a separate case, police charged a 17-year-old in the June 2 burglary of a house on South Candler Road.

Decatur police have arrested a burglary suspect and seek the public's help in locating a suspect in a second break-in.

Decatur Police Sgt. Jennifer Ross provided this information.

Charles Ricardo Green, 42, is wanted in the April 10 burglary of a Hibernia Avenue residence. Police said he was identified through physical evidence at the scene.

Green is originally from the Maryland/Virginia/Washington, D.C. area and appears to be transient with no ties to Georgia. He is a black male about 6-feet tall and 175 pounds. He sometimes wears eyeglasses.

Antonio Bernard Harris, 17, of Tregoney Drive in DeKalb County was arrested the night of June 2 after a resident of the 900 block of South Candler Road found a burglar in her home and confronted him with a stick.

The man fled and the resident called 911 and provided a description. Responding Decatur and Atlanta police searched the area and took him into custody, reportedly while in possession of some items stolen from the residence.

Harris was charged with burglary, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana. Decatur police think he's also involved in a May 20 residential burglary on East Pharr Road and other charged will be filed.

Marta police also have a warrant on Harris.
