Decatur Man Charged In Pot Bust

Police allege suspect was selling drugs within 1,000 feet of a school, park and housing project.

Decatur and DeKalb County police executed a search warrant about 10:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at an apartment at 421 West Trinity Place.

said five men were found inside the residence. A report said Neko Keon Williams of 421 West Trinity Place was charged with "sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of Housing Authority Property (Gateway Manor Apartments, Decatur Housing Authority Property), possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a park (Ebster Park), possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school (Saint Thomas More), and forgery in the second degree."

Police said they found marijuana, plastic baggies, a scale and $1,200 cash. Police also said they found $10 from a drug buy conducted earlier in the day.
