Sketch Released of Suspect in Recent Decatur Carjacking
Decatur police offering up to a $2,000 reward for information of the June 12 incident.
The City of Decatur Police released a sketch Thursday of one of the suspected armed robbers of a in downtown earlier this month.
The incident occurred as a man and woman from out-of-town were returning to their parked car near Decatur High School on June 12. During the attack, the female victim was shot in the abdomen, though not critically; and the man assaulted. The robbers fled in the victims' 2004 red Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck.
A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to identification and the arrest of the suspects. Tips and information will be kept anonymous.
