Avondale Estates Residence Burglarized

Other crimes reported: A bike was stolen and a man says a visitor took an iPad, a wedding ring and other objects.

Avondale Estates police reported that a residence in the 100 block of Wiltshire Drive was burglarized Friday.

The police said somebody pried open a rear door between 7 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.

A flat-screen television, a Blu Ray player and a laptop were listed as missing.

Avondale Estates police are also investigating these crimes:

  • A bike worth $1,200 was stolen Jan. 27 to Jan. 31 from a residence in the 100 block of Clarendon Avenue.
  • A man said an iPad, a wedding band and a debit card were stolen between 10 a.m. Feb. 1 to noon Feb. 2 from a residence in the 100 block of Wiltshire Drive. The resident suspected an unidentified man who visited the house during a social engagement. The stolen goods were valued at $1,250.
