Why go: It's like cosmic, ya know? The Cosmic Carnival benefits Atlanta East Side Pride. There's face painting, “Galactic Gay Yoga”, chair massages and Tarot, intuitive and astrology readings, and other carnival games. If you've left the family at home, there's a 9 p.m. showing of a LGBT film.

Pricing: $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Where/When: Join several Avondale Estates businesses - Paste, Roost, InMovement Dance Studio and The Little Wine Shop - on Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why go: Check out art, listen to music and get into the groove as you walk from venue to venue.
