1. UNITED METHODIST CHILDRENS HOME FLEA MARKET AND BAKE SALE

Where/When:  500 S. Columbia Dr., Decatur will host the flea market and bake sale on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Why go: Be like and support a great cause. What's more, you'll be able to pick up some bargains.

Cost: You might want to bring some fives, tens and twenties for those bargains.

Where/When: , 126 N. Avondale Rd., Avondale Estates, Friday, April 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Why go: It's like cosmic, ya know? The Cosmic Carnival benefits Atlanta East Side Pride. There's face painting, “Galactic Gay Yoga”, chair massages and Tarot, intuitive and astrology readings, and other carnival games. If you've left the family at home, there's a 9 p.m. showing of a LGBT film.

Pricing: $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

3. ART IN THE AFTERNOON 

Where/When: Join several Avondale Estates businesses - Paste, Roost, InMovement Dance Studio and The Little Wine Shop - on Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why go: Check out art, listen to music and get into the groove as you walk from venue to venue.

Where/When: Right on the square in City of Decatur on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Why go: Watch the Easter bunny arrive on a fire truck, then fill your basket with goodies.
