The DeKalb Board of Education expresses great sorrow over the death of our friend and former colleague, Donna G. Edler. Ms. Edler’s passion and commitment to the children and taxpayers of DeKalb County was evident as she regularly attended activities throughout the County.
In her short term of service on the Board, she never wavered in her commitment to improving education for DeKalb’s students, or in her support of the DeKalb County School District.
As a tireless champion for ALL children, her legacy of great care and concern will live on in her many accomplishments in education. We send our sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Covenant Church, 1700 Corey Blvd., Decatur.
