Ask The Lesbian

Ask your questions about the LGBTQ community.

Good Morning & TGIF....

This morning I wanted to leave the blog open to you the reader, if you need an answer to some of those burning questions y'all might have. I believe as a lesbian I can offer you answers from many different perspectives.

So if you want to know something about the LGBTQ community I am giving you an open forum to ask me. If you have questions regarding the LGBTQ business community I can also answer those questions. For those of you that don't know me I am the Publisher & CEO for Carma Productions, Inc. We produce the Atlanta Gay Community Yellow Pages & we are the owners of Gayborhoodapp, the nation's most comprehensive resource directory for the LGBTQ communities available on your smartphone. Gayborhoodapp is available for free on both the Iphone & Droid platforms.

So whatever your question is I will attempt to answer it from the Ask the Lesbian perspective. Have an awesome weekend.

This was touched upon in another thread of yours--terminology. What terms are preferred by the LGBTQ community and how do they relate to one another? What terms are considered disrespectful? Is gay a good collective term? Or is LGBTQ preferred? Is homosexual ever used anymore? Or is gay preferred? What about "men who have sex with men", aka MSM? How does a clueless but well-intentioned heterosexual person avoid putting their foot in their mouth?
