Coming in May: More Free Concerts

The Thursday night free concerts in Oakhurst end this Thursday.

But the free music will keep coming. Next month, concerts will be held at noon Wednesdays and 7 p.m. Saturdays in the Decatur Square Gazebo.

All the shows are brought to you by the Decatur Business Association.

Here are the lineups:

Blue Sky Concerts at noon Wednesdays.

• May 2: McNary (Alt-country)

• May 9: The Loose Shoes Band (Classic rock and blues covers)

• May 16: Zydeco T (Zydeco)

• May 23: Alex Richard Commins and Todd Prusin (Acoustic folk)

• May 30: Joe Gransden (Jazz)

Concerts in the Square at 7 p.m. Saturdays.

• May 5: High Strung String Band (Bluegrass)

• May 12: Evening concert TBA (Part of Decatur Greenfest)

• May 19: Tom Hill and The Midnight Suns (Oldies and R&B covers)

• May 26: Uptown Entertainment Band (Party and dance covers)

There will be free shows in September, too.
