Thanksgiving Break: Camps and Classes For Kids Are Avaliable

Decatur and DeKalb schools will be out all next week.

Decatur City Schools and DeKalb County Schools are out all next week for the Thankgiving holiday. If you're a parent, you need to find something for your kids to do.

The Decatur Active Living Department is holding a camp for K-third-graders Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  According to an email from the department, as of Wednesday afternoon, they still had space on both days for K-3rd graders. Children do not have to be Decatur residents to attend the camps.

Active Living is also offering a camp for fourth-eight-graders Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Monday class is full but the Tuesday class had two openings as of Wednesday afternoon.
