Tail End of Summer Promotion Ending Soon at DeKalb Animal Services and Our Pets of the Week

The Tail End of Summer Special is winding down At DeKalb County Animal Services.  For three more days, you can adopt any dog for $20 and any cat for $10!  This price includes all vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip.  Regular adoption screening still applies.  So come out this weekend and adopt your new family member!

Pets of the Week:  Song and Barbie

Song is one of the wonderful dogs that you can adopt for only $20.  This girl is adorable, and wags her whole rear end when she is happy (which is often).  Song is a female, two-year-old Shepherd/Pointer mix who attends CHARM School at DCAS, so she is very well-behaved and knows basic commands.  Although her front right foot turns out at a funny angle, she gets along fine, and it just adds to her character!  She loves people and gets along great with all dogs.   She is already spayed and has had all of her shots.  All she needs now is a family!

Barbie is a beautiful female cat who you can adopt for only $10.  She is black and white with white mittens and has beautiful soft fur.  Barbie has a very sweet temperament – she is extremely friendly and outgoing --  and she does well with other cats.
