LifeLine Offers FREE Vaccines and Spay/Neuter Vouchers at Healthy Pets DeKalb and DeKalb Animal Services Pets of the week

One of the things that LifeLine Animal Project does to decrease the number of animals ending up in shelters is to help pet owners who have limited access to veterinary services.  LifeLine has performed 65,000 free and low-cost spays/neuters and provided free vaccines to thousands of pets belonging to low-income Atlantans, and we’ll be doing it again this weekend at our ‘Healthy Pets DeKalb’ event.

LifeLine will provide over 500 FREE pet vaccines and spay/neuter vouchers along with free food and other supplies at 'Healthy Pets DeKalb' on Saturday, November 16th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Shoal Creek Park II, 3643 Glenwood Road in Decatur.  This event is for pet owners living in DeKalb County and no appointment is necessary for this first-come, first-serve promotion.  This event is being funded by Second Life, an upscale thrift store in Atlanta that was created with the mission of giving homeless pets a second chance at life.

DeKalb Animal Services Pets of the Week:  Tin Tin and Kalena

We have two gorgeous animals for you to choose from this week!   Tin Tin is a stunning two-year-old male Border Collie mix with soulful brown eyes and a great smile. He has a lovely white coat, is super smart and loves to play ball.  This boy is active and gets along well with other dogs, so he would make a good play companion for your dog or a wonderful exercise companion for you.
