DeKalb Animal Services Dogs Will Soon Attend Finishing School! And Meet Our Pets of the Week, Beyonce and Zeus

Did you know that soon you will be able to adopt a dog from DeKalb Animal Services (DCAS) who has been to CHARM School?  Developed by Anna Bettina of Happy Healthy Pup, the CHARM (Changing Habits and Reinforcing Manners) School program will teach some of our DCAS dogs basic commands and good manners.  So if you’re looking for a polite dog, be sure to visit DCAS!

Beyonce is Beautiful and Can Sing and Dance

Well maybe she can’t sing like her namesake, but she is beautiful and loves to prance around!  Beyonce is a sweet and energetic Dalmation/Pointer mix.  This girl is still a puppy, about eight-months-old, and weighs 45 lbs.  She has an adorable black patch over her left eye, and Dalmation spots on her floppy ears and face.  Beyonce is happy chasing a ball, playing with dogs or cuddling with a human.  She smiles a lot and would be a positive addition to any household.

Almighty Zeus!

Zeus is a very sweet Staffordshire mix who has adorable facial expressions and a build like a greek God.  This easy-going boy loves people and other dogs and is about three years old.  He weighs about 60 lbs., and is a big teddy bear who will snuggle with you and give you kisses.
