Drone Captures Fireworks Show With Inside View

Atlanta Drone Consultants flew a drone in and around Decatur's Fourth of July fireworks display to capture video in the midst of the show.

When Decatur’s fireworks began from the top of the DeKalb County parking deck, Matt Sloane with Atlanta Drone Consultants flew a drone into the action to shoot video and uploaded it to his website.

Viewers have a bird’s-eye view of every aerial bomb, you can almost smell the gunpowder drifting over the city.

According to the Decaturish.com website, Drew Stauss, crew chief for the Decatur fireworks show, commented on the drone video: “It’s really fun to see it from these angles. I usually don’t get to watch much of the show since I spend my time trying to make sure the crew doesn’t catch on fire,” he wrote. “All fingers accounted for.”
