Avondale Pattillo United Methodist Church is participating again in Samaritan Purses' Operation Christmas Child.
This is a non-denominational global gift exchange program and it has shared gifts in more than 130 countries.
To participate please fill shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other appropriate gifts for a boy or a girl - non liquid or food items. Bring to the church office through Nov. 21, or to the church narthex on Sunday morning, Nov. 24 at 3260 Covington Highway in Decatur.
