Bring A Friend to Decatur Farmers Market Wednesday

Patrons of the Decatur Farmers Market are urged to find a friend who doesn't regularly shop there.

Georgia Organics has announced a program called "My Market Club" that is being launched at Atlanta area farmers Market. It will debut Wednesday, Aug. 28, at the with "Bring-A-Friend to the Market Day."

Danielle Moore of Georgia Organics explained the My Market Club program:

It is designed to encourage people who have never been to a farmers market to give it a try. By committing to regularly shopping at their local farmers markets, people can support local farmers and the local economy.

All season long, participants will not only get free incentives for the first three times they come, but they will also have the chance to connect with their community and their food in a more meaningful way.

To kick off the launch of the My Market Club, we are hosting a Bring-A-Friend to the Market Day. Regular market shoppers are encouraged to recruit friends and family that haven't' yet been to the market and show off what they love about shopping there.
