Decatur Pools Closing Labor Day
Glenlake and McKoy pools will be open until Labor Day. Ebster pool has already closed for the season.
The seasonal closing of public pools really seems to put the lid on summer.
That time is drawing nigh.
In Decatur, Ebster pool has already closed, but Glenlake and McKoy pools will be open until Labor Day, Sept. 3. Here are the schduleds for those pools.

- McKoy Pool: 9 a.m to 1 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends.
- Glenlake Pool: 4 to 8 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends.
DeKalb County says only four public pools are now open. The rest closed earlier in the summer.
- Browns Mill Family Aquatic Center: 4929 Browns Mill Road, Lithonia 30038. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, 1–7 p.m.
- Lithonia Pool: 2501 Park Drive, Lithonia 30058. Saturday, 1–6 p.m. and Sunday, 1–6 p.m.
- Murphey Candler Pool: 1526 W. Nancy Creek Drive, Atlanta 30319. Saturday, 1–6 p.m. and Sunday, 1–6 p.m.
- Medlock Pool: 874 Gaylemont Circle, Decatur 30033. Saturday, 1–6 p.m. and Sunday, 1–6 p.m.
