It's National Night Out in Avondale Estates, Decatur

The public is invited to National Night Out celebrations sponsored by the City of Avondale Estates and the City of Decatur.

Avondale Estates' will start at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Dewey Brown Memorial Plaza, across from City Hall.

Decatur's celebration will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Decatur Community Resource Center at 481 Electric Ave.

National Night Out is "America's Night Out Against Crime." The events will include fun activities, training programs, food and drinks and vendor exhibits.

Groups and companies that plan to have tables at the Avondale Estates event include Georgia Relay, Aikido Center of Atlanta, Ackerman Security, The Entry Enforcer, PAWS Atlanta, , the Boy Scouts, On-Call Medical Alerts, the Red Cross and .
