May is National Bike Month and Decatur has plenty of activities planned to encourage people to get out of their cars and onto bicycles.
It starts on Wednesday, May 9, with Bike to School Day. The Decatur Minute says,
Not only will all of our elementary schools and Renfroe Middle School be participating, but Decatur High Student Windsor Jones is encouraging students at Decatur High School to bike as well. Please be on the lookout for all these bicyclists as you make your way around Decatur tomorrow morning.
