Avondale Women's Club

The Avondale Woman's Club, organized in 1957, is a community-oriented organization open to women in the general Avondale area.  The group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month -- September through May.  Annual dues are $50 and covers lunch at the meetings along with contributions made to various community projects.  Monthly programs range from flower-arranging, health issues, crime awareness, women/children shelters, animal shelters, etc.
