Briarcliff Road Whole Foods Hosting Fundraiser for Autism Group

GAAP is the only year-round Day Training Program in DeKalb County for adults with autism who exhibit profound behavioral and communication issues and whose families are often in serious crisis.

Whole Foods Market Briarcliff is holding a 5% Day to benefit the Georgia Adult Autism Program, a program of Georgia Community Support & Solutions.

On Wednesday, Jan. 15, 5 percent of the store’s net sales will be donated to this local organization, which provides opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to connect with the world around them and learn to become good citizens and neighbors.

Customers can help support this organization just by shopping on Wednesday, January 15th.  More of the day’s events include:

  • 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Raffle Prizes - visit the GAAP table and enter to win.
  • All day Giveaway – spend $75 or more and get a free 365 body-care product (choice of lotion, shower gel or shampoo). See customer service to redeem.
  • All-day Pizza and Beer Specials – 2 slices for $6, Large cheese pizza for $10, Large three topping pizza for $11… plus save $1-2 on growlers of beer.
