Sagal Radio Services is a community-based nonprofit organization that delivers information and entertaining programming in six languages to thousands of immigrants and refugees in greater Atlanta via radio broadcasts and to thousands more nationally and internationally via the World Wide Web. Sagal communicates in Amharic, Bhutanese/Nepali, English, (Burmese) Karen, Somali and Swahili. Sagal Radio’s mission is to help empower new Americans from East Africa and South Asia to meet the challenges of life in their adopted land and become healthy, productive, engaged, and informed members of their communities.
