Rainwater Harvesting

Sure, we had a lot of rain this past summer, but why let that important resource just go down the gutter? Start harvesting your rainwater for dryer periods to help maintain the Atlanta watershed and lower your water bill! Learn now so you’re ready to catch the early spring rains when they come and get growing.

This workshop is devised to teach homeowner’s about water conservation, water wise gardening and rain barrel installation and harvesting. Rain barrel installation, maintenance and safety are discussed, along with the conversion kit that includes ALL parts needed for installation. The conversion kit uses a diverter system which eliminates the need for cutting off gutter downspouts, mosquitoes and over-flow valves. Leave with everything you need to start collecting rain water for the dryer months.  Learn now so you’re ready to catch the early spring rains when they come and get growing.
