Foster Kittens Up for Adoption at Second Life

Come meet our adorable foster kittens!  They are up for 

adoption through Dekalb County Animal Services and are adding so much cuteness to our store.  

There has been an overabundance of kittens and cats at the county shelter...so they reached out to local businesses to foster kittens to free up space in the shelter.  We are happy to participate.  Be forewarned though...they are adorable!  

To adopt, you can pick-up an application at Second LIfe or DeKalb County Animal Services.  They are about 10 weeks old and and have already been spayed/neutered - so they are ready to go home once your application is approved!

If you are interested in adopting, you must get pre-approved by an adoption coordinator at the shelter. 

The adoption fee is $75 and includes:


  • the spay/neuter surgery
  • a microchip
  • vaccinations up to their appropriate age 
  • a combo FELV/FIV test  


    • This is a great deal! August and Midnight have already been - but the other adorable kittens are still available!

    Second Life is an upscale thrift store that was created with the mission of giving homeless pets a second chance at life. We sell gently-used clothing, household items and furniture. In turn, we support animal rescue organizations with much needed cash donations – already donating more than $90,000 in just 2 1/2 years. Donations are accepted year-round and are tax-deductible.
