Karen Wurl To Be Featured Poet at Avondale Estates Reading on Tuesday January 7

Karen Wurl, award winning
poet and playwright in Atlanta for more than 20 years, returns to the Atlanta
area for the holidays, when she will be featured poet at the Avondale Estates
monthly poetry reading on Tuesday January 7.
The reading begins with an open reading session at 7 p.m. followed by Karen’s
featured reading at 8 p.m, at Avondale Estates’ Savage Pizza, corner of Laredo
and N Clarendon. Karen is currently in the graduate program in fine arts at
Texas Tech and she holds a PhD from University of Wisconsin—Madison and an MFA
from Western Michigan University in creative writing and playwriting.
