Junior League of DeKalb County Open House

The Junior League of DeKalb County (JLD) will hold a prospective member open house on Sunday, July 28, 2013, from 3-5p.m. at its league headquarters, the Historical Mary Gay House, located at 716 W. Trinity Place in Downtown Decatur. This informational session will provide potential new members with an opportunity to meet current members, ask questions, and learn about the volunteering, educational, and social opportunities JLD provides to its members.

JLD's volunteer efforts are directed at our community impact focus area, Improving Nutrition and Combating Obesity in DeKalb County, through hands-on volunteer activities, as well as collaborative efforts with other community organizations.

The Junior League reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who have reached the age of 21 and who demonstrate an interest in, and a commitment to, voluntarism.
