How does success look and feel to you?

Are you taking advantage of your own success that is right up under your nose? You see it every day! Do you really know how much money you're leaving on the table everyday? When was the last time you were honest with yourself and asked? Is there a better way? I'm really tired of living pay paycheck to paycheck? Check out some of these facts:

  1.  By age 65 only 2% of the population is financially independent. 23% are still working and 75% retire on or at the poverty level income, dependent on relatives, social security or a small pension.
  2.  90% of all Americas live paycheck to paycheck. The average 50 year old person has only $2,300 in savings.(About a one day stay in the hospital).
If any of these facts and figures bother you, you are not alone. If you are not concerned by any of this then feel free to share your secret to success with us. For a very long time I used to think and wonder is there a better way? I used to say jokingly  to that statement -

"Yes there is a better way it's just not legal"

But then I started to read about some of the rich and famous people like Les Brown, Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Orprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry. After listening to and reading about these people I had to ask myself one question? What do they have that I don't? What makes them so unique? I asked myself are they younger, wiser, older, smarter, faster or better than I am. Would God bless them better than how he has blessed me. Did I do something wrong? In my humble opinion there is no difference between  them and me , other than the money; fame and fortune, of course.
Based on my knowledge and information to this point I would have to say that they all have something in common. What I saw and read from all of them is a passion to want to be the best and a sincere desire to want to help others. What is your passion and do you want to help others? Are you really happy in your current job or position?
In closing I hope that you are doing well?  I hope that you have found a WHY  in life and a passion to serve.  For so long I looked outside myself  for money and success. I thought I needed people, places and things to validate who I am. I used to feel if I drove a certain car, lived in certain house, went to a certain school, I would be accepted.  In reality the  money and success that I seek is NOT on the outside it  is really on the inside. So many of us have chased someone else's idea of success. We may not even know what our own idea of success is.

Thanks~ never too young to teach and never too old to learn.
