MudFire was lucky to welcome Stephanie Galli, a talented emerging artist, to our residency program this summer. Stephanie looks to the multiple lines of the great houses of fashion of the 1960s - Dior, Balenciaga, and Chanel - for inspiration in form, patterned surface, and even business practice. She sees her pots walking down the runway with movement, content, intent, and style working together to bewitch the viewer. She approaches her claywork as a designer, never afraid to experiment and explore.
We'll kick off the exhibit with a celebration and artist reception on November 9, 2012 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm.
