Higher Family Achievement is Making a Difference
Mrs. Georgia Hosts “Happy Holiday Outreach Event” for Disadvantaged Families
Atlanta, Georgia, (November 17, 2012) — In the spirit of promoting healthy lifestyles, giving back, and seeing children and their families smile this holiday season, Higher Family Achievement (HFA) along with Mrs. Georgia US United is hosting its annual “2012 Happy Holiday Event: Winter Wonderland ” to giveaway food boxes and gifts to economically disadvantaged families. This event will be held December 15, 2012 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Metro Skate and Lanes located at 1959 Metropolitan Parkway SW, Atlanta, GA 30315.
Mrs. Georgia US United herself will personally pass out food boxes and gifts to 50 to 100 economically disadvantaged families who pre-registered online for the event. Although all families are welcome to attend, only those families who pre-registered online will be guaranteed a box. Any leftover food boxes will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. This event will be fun-filled to include photos with Santa, holiday readings, arts, and crafts, inflatables, skating and bowling. The event will also have special appearances as well as sponsors:

HFA is asking for help and assistance from individuals and groups who are fortunate enough to adopt a family or multiple families to ensure the organization meets its goal of feeding and gifting 50 to 100 less fortunate families this holiday season. HFA’s ultimate goal is to see every disadvantaged family receive a food box and gifts. For more information on how to sponsor a family please visit www.higherfamilyachievement.org. Food and gift donations can be dropped off at Metro Skate and Lanes through December 14, 2012 by 6:00 PM. For every new unwrapped toy a family brings they will receive a free bowling/skating pass. HFA is also seeking volunteers to assist with organizing and setting up activities for the event, maintaining order during the event, and ensuring the event is a memorable success. Higher Family Achievement Incorporated is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Specifically, this organization has been formed to educate the public on subjects useful to the individual, beneficial to the community, and to provide relief to the poor, distressed, and underprivileged. Our organization has designed and developed one (1) program in furtherance of our purposes. Higher Family Achievement provides support throughout the educational career of students from low income families. Students and their families are selected through a network of service agencies and programs that serve our target population groups. Our services include food, clothing, school supplies, family life skills, and educational enrichment programs.
