An Irish Shindig in Decatur

“An Irish Shindig in Decatur” will take place Friday, March 1 from 5-7 p.m. at Brick Store Pub in downtown Decatur. The AJC DBF is partnering with the American Conference for Irish Studies, whose Southern Region group is holding its annual meeting in Decatur. The event is free and open to the public. It will be an informal event with Irish music, poetry, and a cash bar. Seamus Heaney—winner of the 1995 Nobel Prize in Literature—is reading at Emory the following day, so consider this the warm-up act.
